Ukraine and Turkey intend to sign a new military agreement during Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s visit to Ankara.

The draft of the agreement was accepted during a government session, Yevropeyskaya Pravda reports.

Minister of Defense Andrey Taran, who is authorized to sign the agreement on behalf of Ukraine, says the adoption of the draft agreement will create a legal ground for expansion of bilateral cooperation in the defense sector in 21 directions.

During President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s visit to Ukraine in February, the parties agreed on military aid and supplies of AN-178.
