Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Ryabkov says Russia views face-to-face contacts with the US over the Nagorno-Karabakh situation as possible.
“Contacts with the US over the Nagorno-Karabakh issue will continue. Face-to-face contacts are very likely, depending on the current situation in the region, including before elections,” he said.
Ryabkov said even though the US Department of State hasn’t indicated Russia’s role in the recent agreements on the ceasefire between Azerbaijan and Armenia in Nagorno-Karabakh, this won’t have an impact on the Russia-US dialogue over this issue.
