Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Saeed Khatibzadeh says the Iranian authorities won’t tolerate the regular strikes on Iran’s territory from the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone, TASS reports.
The diplomat said Iran won’t stay indifferent in case of repetition of such strikes and added that “ensuring safety of citizens of Iran residing in borderline regions is the priority objective of the country’s armed forces.”
Earlier, the IRIB had reported that eight missiles fired from the conflict zone had exploded in the territory of Iran. They had fallen in a settlement, damaged a few houses and left one person wounded. Overall, according to the IRIB, nearly 50 missiles and projectiles have fallen in the territory of Iran during the escalation of the conflict.
