Vitaly Milonov, a member of the Russian State Duma and of the United Russia bloc, told Riafan.ru that the putting of his name on the “blacklist” of Azerbaijan is a symbol of the fact that the aggressors who unleashed the war do not want to take part in a peaceful settlement of the conflict in the Nagorno-Karabakh [(Artsakh)] Republic.

The lawmaker commented on the news that Azerbaijan had put him on the aforesaid “blacklist,” as Baku thinks that the Russian MP should have received its consent in order to visit Artsakh. "If this is the country I saw as a bomber of civilians, a country that sends Turkish drones so that they to kill women, children, bomb peaceful cities, then I probably do not want to be on that country's ‘white lists.’ It’s better that I be on the ‘blackest lists’ because my ‘black displeasure’ of that kind of injustice is too great," the Russian MP stressed.

Also, Milonov thanked Baku for such a reaction, but stressed that Azerbaijan needs to "come to its senses."
