YEREVAN. – The policeman Artak Grigoryan was transferred from the court of general jurisdiction of Kentron and Nork-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan.

Special Investigation Service filed a motion to the court for intermediation of two-month detention that was approved in a closed court session reports photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan.

Note that Senior Lieutenant Artak Grigoryan, 42, ran over two Iranian citizens on May 24 and tried to avoid the responsibility.

The victims Ardi Zarehi Avanosiani Haji Abade, 16, and her brother Arthur Zarehi Avanosiani Haji Abade, 18, were taken to Armenia medical centre with injuries. Arthur did not regain consciousness and died in the hospital. His sister is in intense care department at the moment.

The young man was a student of Armenian State Medical University and his sister is on the 11th grade of Yerevan N 70 school. The investigation also revealed that the two were not crossing the street by crosswalk.
