The government will allocate AMD 138,000,000 from the state budget to provide funding to Armenia’s representatives to international organizations. This is what Minister of Economy of Armenia Tigran Khachatryan said during today’s discussion on the draft of the 2021 State Budget held as part of the joint session of the Standing Committees on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs and on Economic Affairs of the National Assembly of Armenia.

Moreover, AMD 70,000,000 will be allocated for conduct of economic studies.

“Since the government will focus on the promotion of foreign investments in 2021, AMD 867,000,000 will be geared towards the creation of platforms for establishing relations with foreign investors for the implementation of investment programs. Overall, AMD 520,000,000 will be allocated to support small and medium-sized businesses. In addition, businesses will be provided with necessary consulting, training courses, vocational training courses, and tasks will be carried out to increase accessibility of financial resources,” the minister informed.
