The Armenians of Ukraine continue to send humanitarian aid to Armenia. According to UA-Report.info, Executive Director of the Union of Armenians of Ukraine Hovakim Harutyunyan said five trucks (100 tons) of humanitarian aid have already been sent to Yerevan, and another 40 tons will be sent soon.

The Armenians of Ukraine have already sent ambulance trucks, reanimobiles, generators, medical equipment, food, first aid kits, clothes, wheelchairs and construction materials.

“Every day, the Union of Armenians of Ukraine sends food and necessary assistance to over 2,500 people. Over 100 families have received help with regard to shelters,” Harutyunyan said.

Starting from the very first days of the war in Artsakh, the Union of Armenians of Ukraine set up operative headquarters in Kyiv and Yerevan which provide assistance to the people in Armenia. Among the members of the task force are President of the Union of Armenians of Ukraine Vilen Shatvoryan, leader of the Ukrainian Diocese of the Armenian Holy Apostolic Church Marcos Hovhannisyan, heads of Armenian communities in regions, as well as volunteers from Armenia.
