Thanks to our two brave supporters before whom I bow my head, the property of Tigranakert archeological site has been moved to a safe place, Professor Hamlet Petrosyan, head of the expedition of Artsakh’s (Nagorno-Karabakh) Tigranakert, wrote on Facebook.
"In this difficult time of war, this property is hardly of any considerable material value. But even damaged, it symbolizes [the ancient Armenian city of] Tigranakert, our culture," Petrosyan added.
As reported earlier, the archaeological camp of Tigranakert was severely damaged after a targeted strike by the Azerbaijani armed forces.
