Over 100 people infected with the coronavirus and in critical condition are compelled to stay at home. This is what Minister of Health of Armenia Arsen Torosyan said in response to deputies’ questions during today’s joint session of the Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs and on Health Care and Social Affairs of the National Assembly of Armenia.
As of 8 a.m. on November 9, 861 patients with COVID-19 are receiving medical aid.
“Moreover, most of the patients are receiving treatment at home. Out of those patients, 113 are in very critical condition. Their blood oxygen is less than 80%. Another 271 patients have 81-90% blood oxygen, and 101 patients have more than 90% blood oxygen,” the minister said.
Armenia reported 1,042 coronavirus cases and 21 deaths from COVID-19 in the past day. Since early March, Armenia has reported 107,466 COVID-19 cases and 1,580 deaths from the virus.
