Moscow hopes that all the signatory parties will fulfill the statement by the leaders of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Russia on the complete cessation of all hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh [(Artsakh)]. The statement came from the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, in an interview Tuesday with RTVI television.
"The [signed] document has the status of a statement. We assume that it must be fulfilled by all parties who signed the document, and the signatures have been placed," she said, according to TASS.
Zakharova called not to discuss at this stage the "scenarios of non-implementation of this document." "Let's talk about what to do to fulfill it; and not a little is being done for that," she added, reminding that this statement was the result of a compromise, and all parties signed under the need to implement it.
