A representative of the US Department of State told RIA Novosti that the US has taken note of the agreement on Nagorno-Karabakh, is waiting for the details about implementation of the agreement and would be glad to see an end to the violence.

The representative said the US has taken note of the Russian-brokered agreement on cessation of hostilities and would be interested to know more about the details about the implementation of this new agreement. The official recalled that the US had initially condemned the escalation along the length of the line of contact and the human casualties.
