Three more military transport planes carrying Russian peacekeepers have departed Wednesday from Ulyanovsk Vostochny Airport to take part in the peacekeeping operation in the Nagorno-Karabakh [(Artsakh)]conflict zone, RIA Novosti reported, citing the Russian Defense Ministry.

The personnel, material means, vehicles, and special equipment from the 15th separate motorized rifle brigade units of the Central Military District are on board these planes.

A total of 1,960 servicemen, 90 armored personnel carriers, and 380 pieces military equipment are being deployed in Artsakh as part of the Russian peacekeeping mission.

And in order to oversee this peacekeeping operation, the command headquarters of these Russian peacekeeping forces will be located in the Artsakh capital Stepanakert.
