Russian peacekeepers have deployed nine observation posts each in the southern and northern zones of responsibility in Nagorno-Karabakh. There are also seven temporary posts in the Lachin corridor, according to a bulletin from the Russian defense Ministry published on Sunday.

To organize the entry of the peacekeeping contingent from November 10, 2020, seven temporary observation posts have been set up in the Lachin corridor. Currently, control over the observance of the ceasefire and hostilities is carried out by peacekeeping units at nine observation posts in the southern zone of responsibility and nine in the northern zone, the bulletin says.

The deployment of a command post to control the Russian peacekeeping forces has also been completed in Stepanakert, TASS reported.

The ceasefire is observed along the entire line of contact. In accordance with the agreements reached, the exchange of bodies of the dead continues in Nagorno-Karabakh.

To prevent possible incidents and ensure security, Russian military personnel have established direct communication channels with the general staffs of the armed forces of Azerbaijan and Armenia.
