Another 482 refugees have arrived in Stepanakert, and overall, over 1,200 residents who have previously left their homes have returned, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported.

“On November 16, 2020, 482 refugees returned to Nagorno-Karabakh from the Republic of Armenia. The 19 buses followed the Yerevan-Stepanakert route, with the accompaniment of the Russian peacekeeping contingent and the patrol service of military police, and reached the main square in Stepanakert. Russian servicemen ensured safety of the buses along the line of contact for the peaceful civilians to return to their homes in Stepanakert,” the press release reads.
