Deputy Defense Minister of Russia, Colonel General Alexander Fomin, and President of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Peter Maurer discussed the humanitarian situation in Syria, Nagorno-Karabakh, and the fight against coronavirus.

According to the Russian defense ministry, during the meeting, the sides discussed issues of the humanitarian situation in Syria and Nagorno-Karabakh, countering the COVID-19 spread, as well as the current state and prospects of cooperation between the Russian defense ministry and the International Committee of the Red Cross.
