YEREVAN. - In May 2011 Armenia registered increase of inflation rates by 9 percent per annum, while the relevant figure for April equaled to 8.9 percent. 

According to National Statistical Service, prices stayed identical in April and May of the current year but zoomed up by 5 percent in relation to December 2010.

Highest inflation rates are observed in the subgroup of food products constituting 16.2 percent. Prices for nonfood products increased by 2 percent. Prices for services grow by 2.3 percent.
