YEREVAN. - The Statement of Georgian Ambassador to the U.S. Tengiz Sharmanashvili cannot be regarded otherwise but ignorance for the past and present actualities of the region said the representative of Armenian MFA Karen Mirzoyan.

'The statements of Georgian diplomat do not match the spirit and high level of Armenian-Georgian relations,' he added.

Earlier Georgian Ambassador to the U.S. declared that Armenia cannot focus on its national development, because it has many other issues to deal with. It is preoccupied with domestic problems.
