The OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs should pay special attention to the issue of preserving cultural sites in Nagorno-Karabak, Russian FM Sergei Lavrov noted during the briefing in Moscow.

According to him, it is necessary to stimulate progress in this direction.

"It is planned to allocate special resources of UNESCO for these purposes, UNESCO is also preparing its assessment mission," he added.

The FM added that the OSCE Minsk Group co-chair countries can more actively stimulate international organizations to work in this direction.
