Escorted by Russian peacekeepers, 778 refugees have returned to Nagorno-Karabakh from Armenia in buses traveling from Yerevan to Stepanakert (the buses were escorted by the Russian peacekeeping contingent and military police patrols.
Overall, a total of 34,500 refugees have already returned to their homes in Nagorno-Karabakh.
Russian peacekeepers are not only ensuring the safe return of citizens to their homes, but are also providing humanitarian aid and restoring civilian infrastructures.
