A decision was made to detain Police Colonel Sayat Shirinyan, lawyer Aram Vardevanyan wrote on his Facebook.

"I do not want to present all the lawlessness at the moment, just be sure they will be punished," he noted calling it 'another political persecution.'

"The detention will be appealed, today we will provide additional information," Vardevanyan noted.
