The European Union does not recognize the new Venezuelan parliament and will continue to support opposition leader Juan Guaido, TASS reported.
According to Lead Spokesperson for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Peter Stano, EU considers Juan Guaido to be the only democratically elected partner who represents the assembly elected in 2015.
Discussion between EU countries on relations with Venezuela continues, he added.
