The Vaccines Committee of Germany reports that the AstraZeneca vaccine against COVID-19 must only be injected into people under the age of 65, citing insufficient data on advice to use the vaccine for elders.
“Unlike the mRNA vaccines, the AstraZeneca vaccine only needs to be offered to people between the ages of 18 and 64,” the Federal Ministry of Health of Germany reported.
