YEREVAN. – The—now former—residents of Artsakh's (Nagorno-Karabakh) Kashatagh region, who are protesting in front of the main building of the government of Armenia, will meet with Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan on February 3. The head of the Haykazyan village of Kashatagh told this to reporters outside the aforesaid building.

He noted that he had met with the PM’s assistant, who said that they would meet with Deputy Prime Minister Grigoryan on February 3 to discuss their issues. "The government has set up a task force to deal with our issues," the head of Haykazyan added.

To note, the aforementioned group of—now former—residents of the Kashatagh region of Artsakh on Friday were protesting in front of the main building of the government of Armenia, demanding to be provided with a roof over their heads. They stated that they were forcibly evicted from their homes in Kashatagh, but they did not want to receive benefits from the state, wanted proper compensation for what they had lost, and wanted to buy apartments and become villagers.
