In Russia, the situation around opposition figure Alexei Navalny is a comedy, Czech President Milos Zeman is convinced.

Speaking on Frekvence 1 radio, he stated that "Navalny is presented as a fighter for democracy," but in reality, as the Czech leader claims, this political figure is just an ordinary nationalist.

In particular, as Zeman recalled, Navalny took part in a number of nationalist marches, as well as supported the deportations during the Stalin era. "Well, a few other [such] cases would be found," Zeman added.

Thus, the President of the Czech Republic believes that Alexei Navalny has no right to be included among the political figures who are against the current Russian authorities, MC reported.
