YEREVAN.- Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received on Thursday the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs Robert Bradtke (U.S.), Igor Popov (Russia) and Bernard Fassier (France) and personal representative of the OSCE chairperson-in-office Andrzej Kasprzyk.

The mediators briefed on results of their meetings in Baku and Stepanakert expressing hope progress would be registered in consenting to the Basic Principles of the settlement in Kazan.

The Armenian FM said Yerevan has given a clear response to the final version of the Basic Principles proposed by the mediators. The expected progress will be reached if Azerbaijan gives its unequivocal consent, he added.

Edward Nalbandian said “whether the Azerbaijani officials’ statements after Deauville, which distort the essence of the negotiation process or present concocted details on peacekeeping forces or other issues, witness Baku’s willingness to give consent without any changes and amendments, about what the Co-Chairs had made a call.”

The sides also discussed the issues related to preparation of trilateral meeting in Kazan, reported foreign ministry’s press service.

Armenian, Azerbaijani and Russian Foreign Ministers plan to meet in Moscow on June 11.

Meanwhile, the meeting of Armenian, Azerbaijani and Russian Presidents is scheduled for June 25 in Kazan.
