Iran has presented its first coronavirus vaccine, dubbed Rzai Covo-Pars, Mehr reported.

At the presentation of the vaccine, Iranian Agriculture Minister Kazem Khavazi congratulated the nation on scientific achievements in the fight against coronavirus.

The vaccine is being produced by a dedicated team of Iranian doctors, pharmacists, veterinarians, and chemists at the Razi Institute, which is fully compliant with the requirements of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), he said.

This vaccine was produced under the direct supervision of the Iranian Ministry of Health and in full cooperation with the department of medical devices.
