Israel has become the first country in the world to vaccine more than half of the population against COVID-19.

According to TASS, based on official data and media information, 5.54 million Israelis, or 62.42% of the population, received vaccinations in a state with a population of 8.9 million.

Thus, Israel became the world leader in the proportion of vaccinated, leaving behind the UAE (44.79%), and Seychelles (40.49%).

The UK, together with the overseas territories (18.95%), the United States (12.84%), and Bahrain (11.63%), have also overcome the 10% mark of vaccinated residents.
