As of 9am, dozens of peaceful protesters, including opposition Armenian Revolutionary Federation-ARF Dashnaktsutyun Party student union chairman Taron Ghazaryan and Hayk Manukyan, have been apprehended on the sidewalk near the Ministry of Economy in Yerevan, and without proper justification; the aforesaid student union on Tuesday noted this on Facebook.

"Sadly, to the detriment of the state, the RA [Republic of Armenia] Police continue to serve as a toy in the hands of the current authorities and a guarantor of their criminal activities," the ARF student union’s statement also reads.
