Dozens of asylum seekers and foreign workers in Tel Aviv have lined up to receive their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine as part of an initiative to vaccinate foreign citizens in the city, AP reported.

On its first day, a vaccination center in the south of Tel Aviv, home to a large migrant community, delivered doses to dozens of foreign nationals.

Since late December, Israel has insisted on vaccinating most of its population. Vaccines became available to all citizens over 16 years old last week.
