The government is planning a visit to Shirak Province where there will be meetings with citizens, including the relatives of prisoners of war. This is what Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan said in response to a question from member of the My Step faction of the National Assembly Nazeli Baghdasaryan during today’s question-and-answer session with government officials in parliament.
“There is no need to remind me and my Cabinet about the issue of prisoners of war because we don’t forget about it for even a second. This is the case when we need to be guided by the principle of not hurting. Unfortunately, there have been many actions that seemed to be taking place for a speedy solution to the issue, but in practice, it was the opposite. The issue of prisoners of war is a priority,” Pashinyan said and assured that the government is working actively for the captives’ return.
