White House said it is deeply concerned by the WHO report from China on COVID-19 origin, Reuters reported.
The White House also called on China to provide data on the earliest cases of the COVID-19 outbreak.
White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said it is imperative that the report be independent and free from changes by the Chinese government.
The Chinese authorities have refused to provide baseline data on the first COVID-19 cases to the WHO expert group.
