YEREVAN. - Judging by statements of opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) and authorities representatives, there was, there is and there will be a dialogue, said MP from another oppositional party, ARF Dashnaktsutyun, Artsvik Minasyan to a press conference on Friday.
“In chess game between authorities and the ANC this fact is emphasized in a peculiar combination of steps. It is not by coincidence that the leader of ANC Levon Ter-Petrosyan in his speech on May 31 admitted the existence of an informal dialogue. Right now the opposition is trying to transfer this process into formal mainstream trend by means of formation of negotiating delegations. In chess terms, this move is called check. As things stand, the government must not merely think about how to neutralize the check, it must find the way to return the check. However, it is Serzh Sargsyan who should put the final check in my opinion. I think he will make a statement on this subject", said Minasyan.
