The Audit Chamber of Armenia has joined the initiative of the National Assembly’s committee leading a probe into the effectiveness of the measures taken by the Government and Commandant’s Office of Armenia for prevention of the novel coronavirus, the fight against the virus and mitigation or elimination of the consequences of the pandemic. This is what chairman of the committee, deputy of the opposition Bright Armenia parliamentary faction Arkady Khachatryan said during today’s session of the committee.

According to him, Chairman of the Audit Chamber Levon Yolyan provided information about the changes to be made in the activities of the Chamber this year. The Audit Chamber will focus on the conduct of studies in the healthcare system, at the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and the State Revenue Committee. “I hope the Audit Chamber provides information before the committee completes its tasks,” Khachatryan stated.
