In response to the article entitled “On-Duty Soldiers in Sector of Lisagor Village Stay in Inhumane Conditions: Mother of Servicemen Sounding Alarm” and published in different presses, the Ministry of Defense of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) informs that certain problems truly emerged in the mentioned sector as a result of strong winds, after which the personnel immediately took shelter in temporary shelters. Currently, appropriate actions are being taken to fully ensure living conditions.

Earlier, Armenian News-NEWS.am had reported that J. Kirakosyan, who is the mother of a fixed-term serviceman and whose son is also serving on duty in that territory, told Armenian News-NEWS.am the following: “A few days ago, the wind blew away the tents of servicemen serving on duty in the territory of Lisagor village of Artsakh, and the servicemen stayed outside in the freezing cold. Look at how our heroic boys are being treated. How can our boys be treated like this? These are inhuman conditions. There were strong winds that ripped the tents of the boys. The cars were parked near the tents, but it was useless since the winds had blown the tents away, leaving the boys outside.”
