YEREVAN. – The protesters—demanding the resignation of Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan—, who have marched to the Foreign Ministry and the Prosecutor General's Office, have returned to Marshal Baghramyan Avenue in the capital Yerevan.
During the march, the protesters were stopping over at various ministries and addressing messages.
The rally of the opposition Homeland Salvation Movement—which demands PM Pashinyan’s resignation—is scheduled to get underway at 6pm on Marshal Baghramyan Avenue.
The representatives of this movement on Friday met with President Armen Sarkissian. They demand that the President not sign PM Pashinyan's petition submitted to him to sack Onik Gasparyan, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces.
