YEREVAN. – During the rally, the Prime Minister noted the possibility of early [parliamentary] elections, and the factors necessary for that: in particular, the consultations with the parliamentary opposition, which are taking place these days. Lilit Makunts, the leader of the majority My Step faction, on Wednesday told this to reporters in the National Assembly of Armenia.
"I have no information whether or not there was a meeting with the PAP [parliamentary opposition Prosperous Armenia Party] leader [Gagik Tsarukyan]. According to my information, there was no such meeting. I do not think that an invitation would have been sent to Mr. [Edmon] Marukyan, the leader of the [parliamentary opposition] Bright Armenia Party, but would not have gone to the leader of the PAP. We will all be informed about what results these meetings and negotiations will give. We will inform about our actions," Makunts added.
