Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will make his first visit to the United Arab Emirates on March 11, 10 days before the Israeli elections, Reuters reported citing Israeli media.
There is no official confirmation of the visit yet. Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported that Netanyahu would meet with Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Israel established formal relations with the UAE and Bahrain last September under a US-brokered agreement.
