From March 15 to 18, the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan will conduct operative-tactical military exercises with various types of troops, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan reports.

There will be up to 10,000 servicemen, nearly 100 armored vehicles, up to 200 missile and artillery systems and mortars, as well as various unmanned aerial vehicles.

The military exercises will be conducted in forests and mountainous territories and the focus will be on the management of troops and the improvement of various types of troops.

During the military exercises, the troops will perform tasks to carry out anti-terrorist operations to fight against terrorist detachments and illegally armed groups.
