The Israeli state aerospace company has announced plans to partner with a weapons manufacturer from the United Arab Emirates to develop an anti-drone defense system tailored to the needs of Abu Dhabi, MEE reported.
Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) announced plans to jointly develop an advanced defense against unmanned aerial vehicles to detect, identify, classify and intercept a wide range of threats.
According to the statement, the anti-unmanned aerial vehicle system will include soft-kill solutions such as electronic jamming and cyber-capture, and hard-kill capabilities such as cannons, missiles, electromagnets, and lasers, as well as advanced management and control.
