Germany, Ireland and the Netherlands have stopped using the coronavirus vaccine developed by AstraZeneca and the University of Oxford.

The Government of the Netherlands on Sunday declared that the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine won’t be used until at least March 29, and earlier, Ireland reported that it has temporarily stopped vaccinations as a precautionary measure. Today the German government also declared that it will stop using the vaccine and called for further inquest.

The World Health Organization has tried to ease the current concerns over the safety of the vaccine and declared last week that there is no link between the vaccinations and the risk of emergence of thrombosis. Despite this, several countries across Europe have stopped using the vaccine.
