President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan says Saudi Arabia wants to purchase unmanned aerial vehicles from Turkey, Reuters reports.

Relations between Ankara and Riyadh escalated after the murder of journalist Jamal Khashogji at the Consulate of Saudi Arabia in Istanbul in 2018. Trade crumbled due to Saudi Arabia’s informal boycott, but both countries declared that they would work on improving their relations.

Speaking at a press conference in Ankara, Erdogan slammed the recent joint military exercises of Saudi Arabia and Greece, but he also said Saudi Arabia wants to purchase combat UAVs from Turkey.
