Azerbaijan has “suddenly” remembered humanitarian principles.

During a briefing following his meeting with Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovakia Ivan Korcok, Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov bitterly complained about Armenia, saying the latter “refuses to provide Azerbaijan with the maps of minefields in the territories liberated from occupation” and adding that this goes against humanitarian principles and humanism. According to Bayramov, “the international community must exert pressure on Armenia to make it provide the maps of minefields”.

Overall, Azerbaijan and particularly Bayramov remind one of a movie hero who says the following famous words: “This is yours, this is also yours, this is yours forever.” Basically, when it concerns Azerbaijan’s interests, Baku remembers humanitarian principles and humanism, and when there are talks about captives, civilians and women being kept as captives for months, they forget about it completely.
