President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan will discuss Turkey’s problems with the European Union during a meeting with top EU officials, Reuters reported.
Earlier, Reuters reported that the EU has frozen inclusion programs of the Turkish Petroleum Company (TPAO), “which is clearly a sign that Ankara’s diplomacy campaign was fruitful this year”.
Erdogan told reporters that he will also discuss Turkey’s expectations as a NATO ally, including Ankara’s requirements for a visa-free regime, the update of the customs union and the possibility of EU sanctions.
