On the occasion of World Poetry Day, Turkey’s Health Minister Fahrettin Koca has called on Turkish citizens to read poems to help them fight against the coronavirus.
“Poetry makes the organism strong to fight against all types of viruses, let’s not forget about this,” Koca tweeted.
This month, Turkey reported up to 20,000 coronavirus cases a day, which is a record-setting indicator since December.
Since the outbreak of the pandemic, Turkey has reported 30,000 deaths from COVID-19 and a total of up to 3,000,000 coronavirus patients.
