Armenia’s government isn’t corrupt, but there are certain corrupt elements from the former regime. This is what Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan said in response to deputies’ questions during today’s question-and-answer session with government officials.

According to him, the existing elements of the corrupt system allow certain officials to make arbitrary decisions that cause problems for private investors.

“Most of the work is done, but this doesn’t mean that the old system has been destroyed. However, there is a fully operating mechanism,” the minister said and assured that the time to reap the fruits will come soon.
