Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak stands for tougher sanctions against Iran, he said in an interview with French Figaro newspaper, reports ITAR TASS.

He said that Iran still strives to create nuclear weapon and to support terrorism on the region. According to him, Tehran intends to get under control the entire Persian region.

Barak said the problem is not to determine how and when Iran will become a nuclear power. The problem is to determine when the country will overcome invisible boundary after which other countries will not be able to prevent it from developing nuclear weapons.
