Germany will hold bilateral talks with the Russian side on possible supplies of the Sputnik V COVID-19 vaccine if it is admitted to the EU.
According to health minister Jens Spahn, the European Commission said it would not conclude a preliminary deal for the supply of the Russian vaccine.
The minister noted that he now expects the Russian side to clarify the issue when and how many vaccines Germany can receive after admission.
