YEREVAN. – The security system between Armenia and Russia emerged before the 2020 war. The problem is that this system extends only to the territory of the Republic of Armenia. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Wednesday stated this at the National Assembly of Armenia while presenting the report on the implementation and results of the government program for 2020.

He added that the Russian side has always notified the Armenian side that its obligations for ensuring security are limited to Armenia’s recognized territories which do not include Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).
