To hold early parliamentary elections in the country, Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan will resign in the last 10 days of April.

"I am going to resign in the last 10 days of April in accordance with the agreements previously reached with the parliamentary forces and the president of the republic," he told the MPs during the meeting in parliament. "After that, to comply with the necessary procedures, on the seventh day, the elections of the prime minister will take place."

He hastened to warn political forces against violations of previously reached agreements.

"If political forces try to deviate from our political agreements, they will commit political suicide. My step will elect me as prime minister and the topic will be closed," Pashinyan added.
