The Board of Trustees of Yerevan State University (YSU) canceled its session today. As reported Yerevan State University, it was expected to receive information about the canceled session from secretary of the Board of Trustees, acting Chairman of the Board of Trustees Mikayel Malkhasyan, but the news was reported today at 5 p.m. in the sessions hall of the YSU Academic Council.

The Board of Trustees failed to hold a session yesterday as well since there was a problem with quorum.

As reported earlier, 15 members of the YSU Board of Trustees who were appointed by the government, have submitted their resignation letters. The authorities are having trouble making a decision on the selection of the University’s rector and are leading the Board to dissolution.
